I can understand the emotion behind this idea of not trusting narrowly-trained western doctors. However, I think that you would be very misguided to think that alternatives are likely to find cancers and other silent killers which have no symptoms until it is too late.

I recommend to all my (old) friends that they do an annual medical with their local GP. Surprisingly, probably only half of them do.

I’ve had two potentially lethal cancers, both requiring operations, and each was found at my annual check-up. Neither was obvious and in both cases, they were initially identified by my doctor comparing his findings with my medical record going back over 20 years.

That’s why I strongly recommend annual check-ups — symptoms of no symptoms. They saved my life twice.
